New Belair Road on the 196 this morning. Adelaide is so tiny it is hidden behind a scratch on the window. CAN YOU SEE IT?! Here you can.

Eraser – best MacBook cleaning utensil.

Robin and Alice took me to the Central Market for lunch on my birthday. This amused me for a long time.

My coffee comes with a spare cup because it’s so hot. Nick likes to play with it. He also likes to play with peoples’ rubbish. Today, he played with not only my spare cup, but my used coffee cup and Phil’s used coffee cup. Pretty sculpture. What a weirdo…
Boxing’s Been Good to Me
August 9, 2009I just watched an amazing film called Boxing Day. It was supposedly all 3 shots, but there were hidden cuts. It was filmed in Elizabeth (South Australia) and was just…the most derro people ever. But it was really great. Incredible amateur acting.
Seriously…Elizabeth is derro. Sorry.
Hey hey hey hey! OOOoooooooooooh-ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
August 7, 2009No Sleep Till Brooklyn
August 4, 2009So last Saturday, I booked my trip. That’s right. It’s booked. It’s paid for. The concept has finally peeled out of my brain and pasted itself onto a piece of paper, the in form of a booked and processed itinerary.
But, the point is, I was just looking at accommodation for New York City, and I was blown away by how expensive it was. Then I found a gem. A beautiful beautiful gem that I pray does not bite me in the ass.
I am staying at the Roosevelt Hotel. 3 1/2 stars. Located on the corner of 45th and Madison Avenue. Opposite Grand Central Station. A few blocks away from Rockefeller Centre. A few blocks away from Central Park. A few blocks away from Time Square. A few blocks away from the Empire State Building.

Yes, it does look expensive, doesn’t it? Well, usually it is. However, somehow, SOMEHOW (please don’t be a mistake) I am staying there for $54 a night, instead of $315. I will be staying at this beautiful hotel for a week, costing a total of $457 AUSTRALIAN. Yeah, not even US Dollars. It’s paid for. Thank you, Expedia.

Man, my cheap flight/accommodation finding skills are fricking stellar.
